A personal note

As I embark on launching my consultancy, I am hit with the realization of the challenge to start and grow my own business. I’ve been working since I was a teenager and have always been employed in established organizations, which have provided me with a framework to work in and a steady, reliable income.

And now, I am consciously walking way from that.

I am doing so because I want to create my own professional world and fill it with people that inspire me and make me better, and with projects that fulfill me. It is scary. And maybe, ultimately, I choose reliability over choice, but for now, it is exciting and filled with possibility.

This would not be happening without the support of my family, and specifically, my husband. We have been a partnership for over 23 years, having each others backs through the ebbs of flows of professional growth. And now, I’m ready to flow again towards a future of my own creation, with his support.

I am excited, nervous, thrilled, scared and confident about this next step, but I know this…I am ready to go and do a great job for anyone I am lucky enough to work with.

Just try new things. Don’t be afraid. Step out of your comfort zones and soar, all right?
